Hi, I’m Lukas — a Stuttgart-based industrial designer. My work sits at the intersection of form, function, and strategy, blending user-centered thinking with a strong understanding of market dynamics.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Design from Hochschule Magdeburg-Stendal, where I’m currently completing my Master’s in Industrial Design with a focus on sustainable systems and speculative design. Before transitioning into design, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Economics from University of Würzburg, which continues to inform how I approach projects with both creativity and commercial awareness.
Throughout my academic journey, I’ve completed internships at forward-thinking studios and companies, including:
- NOVA Objects (Berlin) – where I helped design a line of modular workspace accessories for hybrid offices
- studio orbit. (Munich) – a multidisciplinary design consultancy, where I worked on conceptual development for consumer electronics
- Vektora Mobility (Hamburg) – focusing on UX and form studies for last-mile electric transport solutions
My work has been recognized with several design awards, including:
- New Talent Award 2024 – German Design Council
- Core77 Design Student Runner-Up (Product Design)
- Magdeburg Design Preis – Concept Category
